I know this because I’ve been there.
But that near-breaking point forced me to change everything. I realized success isn’t about working harder; it’s about working smarter.
I had to focus on high-impact habits—habits that drive real results without draining me.
That’s how I developed my Monk Mode System, a transformative routine perfected over 14 years. It’s been a game-changer for my success with Herb and my personal brand.
In today’s newsletter, I’m sharing this system with you so you can get more done in less time—and avoid burnout while doing it.

#2 - Meditate Daily
Take time each day to meditate—no matter the style. Meditation helps you clear distractions, sharpen your focus, and improve your mindset.
It’s a simple but powerful habit that cultivates self-awareness, inner peace, and mental clarity. Remember the saying: “Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.”
By slowing down to meditate, you’ll gain the calm and clarity needed to approach life with greater focus, patience, and resilience—both personally and professionally.
#3 - Break a Sweat Every Morning
Kickstart your day with physical activity—it’s about more than just staying fit. Morning exercise boosts your mood, reduces stress, and sharpens mental focus.
Don’t overcomplicate it; start small. Whether it’s jogging, yoga, or swimming, the key is consistency. Build the habit gradually and make movement an essential part of your routine.
Prioritizing your health will pay dividends: more energy, sharper focus, and the resilience to tackle challenges head-on.
#4 - Build a Massive Audience Through Content
In today’s digital world, attention is the new currency. Creating high-quality content is your ticket to growing a massive following, boosting visibility, and becoming a thought leader in your industry.
The secret? Be real. Share personal stories—your wins, failures, lessons—and evoke emotion in your audience. Whether it’s curiosity or excitement, authenticity builds connection.
Focus on two platforms and commit to daily content creation. Consistency will attract a loyal community of like-minded individuals who share your values—and as your audience grows, so will opportunities for collaboration, networking, and revenue generation.
#5 - Optimize Your Core Business Systems
Your business success hinges on the strength of its systems. To scale effectively, you need to identify and improve the key systems driving growth.
Start by mapping out the ten core systems in your business—such as audience growth, marketing, sales, or product development—and tackle them one by one.
Optimize each system relentlessly to make your business more efficient and competitive. As these systems strengthen, you’ll unlock the ability to scale faster and achieve your goals with greater ease.

#6 - No Meetings Before Noon
As a founder, your mornings are sacred—and your most valuable asset is your time.
Reserve the hours from 8 AM to noon exclusively for deep, focused work. Block off your calendar to eliminate meetings and distractions during this critical window.
Use this time to tackle your highest-priority tasks and make meaningful progress on projects that move the needle.
Dedicating four uninterrupted hours each day to deep work can skyrocket your productivity—allowing you to accomplish more in a single day than most do in a week.
This habit builds momentum, drives exponential growth, and positions you miles ahead of the competition.
